I love everything about this paddle! Ive been playing with this paddle for 1 month & the grit is still excellent. The power is very controllable, this paddle fits my play style.
I actually bought this paddle without even holding or playing with it. I had heard so many great things about it I just had to get one. I WAS using the Ben John Perseus for singles and doubles but it was becoming delaminated so I needed to get a new paddle. The minute I held the Rizen I was like "wow", the balance is perfect and the surface was nothing like I've ever felt. All I can say is "goodbye Ben and HELLO Rizen". Absolutely love it for doubles and singles as it provides a great balance of power and control whenever I need it.
This is a great paddle with just the right amount of pop. Most foam paddles, like the Loco, lack feedback but the Ascent gives plenty much like a Gen 3 paddle in feel. I also love that the paddle has a long lasting grit unlike the Luzz.
Light for elongated shape. Good sweet spot that gets better with a little weight. Grit is like brand new even after a month. Highly recommend this paddle!
Just switched from ping pong to pickleball. This paddle made the transition super smooth! It’s light, so it’s very easy for me to control, especially at the net. Also, the surface has great grit, so I can actually generate solid spin. It still feels the same even after a lot of play. (Some other paddles loose the grit quickly :( ) I just love it 🥰
